We provide commissioning and integrated testing services for life and fire safety systems for all occupancies. We will review the design and onsite installation and prepare the documentation of any alternative solutions and/or deviations from the requirements of Codes and Standards.

Existing sprinkler systems often need to be evaluated to ensure they provide required level of protection for the occupancy.

This happens when new tenants plan to occupy the building and need to know if the storage or production arrangements is adequately protected by existing sprinkler system. Or insurance companies would like to know if insured property has adequate sprinkler protection because hydraulic plate is missing on sprinkler riser.

In any case – we can evaluate your sprinkler system. We hydraulically calculate the system, compare results with current standards.

Standpipe systems consist of piping and hose connections installed throughout a building to provide reliable water for the manual suppression of a fire by either the fire department or trained personnel in a fire emergency.

Fire pumps can be tricky. We do our best to avoid this big-ticket item, but if your building requires a fire pump – we carefully size it, to make sure you not spending extra dollars for oversized equipment.

We design all kinds of fire pumps from centrifugal to vertical submersible, electrical or diesel. If required, we size water tanks required for fire water supply.

Buildings located in certain areas required their sprinkler piping to be seismically restrained.

We provide seismic bracing layouts for sprinkler piping and calculations for all required restrains – lateral, longitudinal and 4-way braces for vertical piping. We ensure all requirements of Building Code and NFPA 13 Standard are met when we inspect installed seismic bracing.

Fire Code Compliance is the responsibility of every building owner. If the Fire Department inspected the property and find deficiencies in the Fire Code Compliance, the owner can be fined.
